Data controller : Ali Benamor
Your contact form
The form sends your name, email address, topic, message, language and originating site to Ali Benamor at info@benamor.be to handle your enquiry. An automatic acknowledgement is sent to the address you provide. This processing is independent of statistics consent and creates no subscription. Details are encrypted in the Laravel delivery queue and removed from it after sending. Pending or failed deliveries are deleted within eight days. To prevent abuse, keyed cryptographic hashes of IP and email addresses limit submissions; they are deleted within 25 hours. These safeguards rely on the legitimate interest of securing the form. Message contents are not sent to statistics.
Sites covered
This policy covers benamor.be and ali.benamor.be and the technical data needed to operate them. The controller and the contact for exercising your rights are identified above.
Statistics with your agreement
Audience measurement is used only to improve content and usability. Its legal basis is consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). It stays disabled until you agree. Declining, closing the panel or continuing to browse never counts as agreement. Preferences apply to the browser and the site where you make the choice.
What we measure
We count page views, site language, screen category (mobile, tablet or desktop), browser and operating system families, and general referral categories (direct, search engine, social network or other). We also count openings of expertise, profile and project pages, filter use, scroll and active-time milestones, illustration controls, and contact or CV actions. For searches, only a range of result counts is sent: typed terms are not sent to audience measurement. URL parameters and fragments are excluded.
Counts without individual histories
Events immediately update daily counters. Categories are stored separately, without visitor identifiers, fingerprinting, precise geolocation, session recording or links between visits to the two sites. The statistics database stores no IP address, full browser string or email address. These counts do not represent unique people.
Storage and retention
The functional cookie benamor_privacy stores only agreement or refusal, the policy version and the choice date. This cookie is necessary to respect your preferences and expires after 180 days without renewal on visits. No advertising cookie or statistics identifier is placed. Counts are removed from the active database after twelve months through a daily purge. Private restoration backups follow their own rotation: up to eight days for our daily backups and up to 90 days for the hosting provider’s backups, depending on the plan. Expired counters are purged before viewing restored statistics.
Hosting and technical logs
The websites, administration and counters are hosted by o2switch in France. Access is limited to the controller and authorised maintenance personnel. Our audience measurement loads no advertising or third-party analytics service and arranges no transfer of these statistics outside the European Economic Area. Servers necessarily receive IP addresses and technical connection information. Hosting logs may contain this information for availability, abuse prevention and legal obligations. They follow the retention needed for these purposes and the provider’s rotation rules, independently of statistics preferences. Website security relies on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).
Messages and external links
If you write to us, we use your email address and message to reply: precontractual steps for service enquiries or legitimate interest for other correspondence. Enquiries with no follow-up are deleted within twelve months of the last exchange; contractual records and documents needed to defend a right follow applicable legal requirements. LinkedIn and organisation links lead to external services with their own privacy policies. They are not embedded as trackers.
Your rights and choices
Withdraw agreement in one click with “Withdraw my agreement” in the footer, or change it through “Statistics preferences”. Withdrawal stops future transmissions and cancels those still pending in the browser; it does not invalidate earlier lawful processing. Counters without an identifier cannot isolate a past visit, and we collect no additional data to reidentify you. You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and, where its conditions apply, portability of your personal data. Write to the contact above; we normally respond within one month, with a reasoned extension where the GDPR permits. You may lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority.
Policy changes
The date and version appear at the top. A new purpose or a substantial change to consent conditions requires a new request for agreement. Policy and consent mechanism versions are retained with website releases.
